El albergue

Books have always played a really important role in my life. They are, after all, sort of like a way to travel the world and explore from the comfort of your own snuggly couch or quiet park bench, both of which are things I do dearly love. So I thought I'd share the books I've been reading recently... maybe you can get some ideas for some quiet adventuring of your own, who knows?

Sue Monk Kidd - The Secret Life of Bees
Louis Tracy - The Postmaster's Daughter
Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged
Wilkie Collins - The Woman in White
                      - The Queen of Hearts
Charlotte Brontë - The Professor
George Eliot - Romola
                    - The Lifted Veil
                    - Adam Bede
Charles Dickens - The Battle of Life
Kurt Vonnegut - The Big Trip Up Yonder
F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Beautiful and the Damned
Edgar Rice Burroughs - The Land That Time Forgot
                                   - A Princess of Mars
Willa Sibert Cather - O Pioneers!
                              - My Ántonia
Helen Hunt Jackson - Ramona
Torcuato Luca de Tena - Los Renglones Torcidos de Dios
